Our yoga class takes place on Tuesday evenings.
Yoga is about connecting the body, mind and breath, leaving you feeling energised, happy and calm. Hatha yoga has many psychological and physical benefits such as increasing energy levels, boosting self-esteem and improving balance. By using physical poses, Hatha yoga generates strength and flexibility and increases energy into all areas of the body. This removes any built up tension and enables us to cope with the stresses of everyday life.
A note from Verity: I know that it can be a little daunting to come along to a class, particularly if you are new to yoga. I want to reassure you that my classes are suitable for all - from the absolute beginner who has never been to a yoga class, through to the experienced yogi. In each class I give options as we move through the postures, so everyone can gain the maximum benefit. Classes are different every week and incorporate asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing to cleanse the mind and body) and a short relaxation to ensure that your entire body feels the benefits.
